Medicinal gas cylinders contain gas at high pressure, usually up to 200 bar. For Homecare, high pressure cylinders are primarily used as a backup for oxygen concentrators, and with lightweight cylinders as a solution for mobility. In some cases, mainly for short burst oxygen therapies, high pressure cylinders are used as the main source of medicinal oxygen. High-pressure cylinders are also used with ventilators to provide respiratory support for patients requiring artificial breathing.
