We support research into the clinical use of medical gases through the GEMI Fund and The Inspire Award. The GEMI Fund has mainly supported mechanistic and translational research in various undefined areas, while The Inspire Award concentrates on clinical investigations in patients to clarify therapeutic benefits in our focus areas.
It is our ambition to become the preferred partner in the development of innovative therapies arising from any intellectual property where gases, gas technology or gas competence are needed. We co-operate with researchers in hospitals and universities in different parts of the world and support research programs in several clinical areas. This approach has uncovered a number of opportunities and ideas for new product concepts.
