During 2000, Linde acquired the Swedish gas company, AGA AB, providing access to new markets in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) as well as to Latin America. Linde Gas Therapeutics continues to operate under the AGA brand in most of these countries. As from September 2006, also BOC is a member of The Linde Group.
